The Brown Award, established in honor of Suburban Hospital’s James A. Brown, MD, recognizes a nurse who goes above and beyond as a patient advocate, exhibiting exemplary compassion and empathy in communicating with oncology patients and their families. Dr. Brown, an oncologist, has always recognized the important partnership of nurses and technicians in the treatment and care of his patients.
