environment. From emergency treatment to inpatient admissions, the Pediatric Emergency Center recognizes the unique medical needs of our youngest patients in an atmosphere specifically designed to reduce their anxiety about hospitals. A team of board-certified pediatricians and specially trained pediatric nurses staff the combined emergency/inpatient unit ensure around-the-clock pediatric expertise.
The combined emergency room/inpatient format helps ease the transition from emergency services to an inpatient bed, providing a more comfortable experience for those children who require a hospital admission. Our pediatric team treats everything from sore throats to playground injuries and broken bones to complex illnesses. The Pediatric Emergency Center recognizes the special needs of all its pediatric patients and offers a full range of ancillary care, including radiology and laboratory services. The Center also offers support for children who are undergoing outpatient procedures.
