Tops $360,000 for Cardiac Care

More than 300 guests, including nearly 50 corporate and individual sponsors, came together on May 10th to enjoy a chic fundraising event at the Bolger Center in Potomac. The evening featured cocktails on the terrace, a hip nightclub environment for dinner, a spectacular flash mob/music video production, key note remarks by Honorary Chair John M. McMahon, a live auction, and entertainment by The Fab Four – the ultimate Beatles tribute. Proceeds, grossing $360,000, will support cardiac care services and the NIH Heart Center at Suburban Hospital.

Ready, Set, Grow! Pediatrics Festival

Join us as we mark the 10th anniversary of our innovative inpatient / emergency pediatric unit with a community festival. We will have face painters, magicians, and clowns for the kids, as well as fitness and dance workshops, advice on summer safety and much more to celebrate all the ways we can help make kids grow up strong and healthy. We will also be dedicating the pediatric unit in honor of generous funding from The Shaw Family Foundation.
